This week in Public Data’, labour and healthcare dominated the release schedule, as the ONS published its Labour Market statistics for the month whilst NHS England’s waiting times figures made headlines.

Regional, local authority, and parliamentary constituency breakdowns of trends and changes in UK employment, unemployment, and economic inactivity, and other related statistics.

Regional level data on payrolled employees and their pay from HM Revenue and Customs’ (HMRC’s) Pay As You Earn (PAYE) Real Time Information (RTI).

NHS England’s most recent release on referral to treatment waiting times for consultant-led elective care in March. The statistics include patients waiting to start treatment at the end of March 2025 and patients who were treated during March 2025. Region, ICB and sub-ICB level data available.

Data on the levels of attendance and overall, authorised and unauthorised absence in state-funded primary, secondary and special schools by May 2nd 2025. Figures are by local authority and region.

Estimates of young people (aged 16 to 24 years) who are not in education, employment or training, by age and sex.

Data collation from the Price Index of Private Rents (PIPR), which measures private rent inflation for new and existing tenancies, and the UK House Price Index, which measures house price inflation. Figures are by local authority and region.

– Great British Insulation Scheme
Data to monitor the installation of energy efficiency measures in domestic properties via the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS). This is broken down by local authorities, constituencies and regions.
