It’s been a busy few months for the Polimapper technical team, who’ve implemented a number of product improvements to allow for a more seamless experience. Here’s a summary of what’s new in Version 4.10.

Simplified stakeholder outreach

Polimapper’s new stakeholder outreach functionality makes it simpler to connect your audience with decision-makers. This functionality allows you to take your audience from the landing page directly to the engagement tool, either by selecting an area on the map or using the location dropdown.

Now you have the option to run a data-backed campaign, with in-depth local area dashboards which drive supporters towards an e-action, or a simplified campaign, sending people directly to the ‘Email your MP’ page.

Local area data can still be included in the email templates, ensuring stakeholders receive tailored emails for their constituency or local authority.

This functionality can be quickly switched on or off from the Polimapper platform.

Updates to website embed

The updated Polimapper iframe has introduced visual changes to website embedding, presenting your visualisations in a more user-friendly way.

The new iframe removes all borders for a more seamless fit on your website and is now fully displayed in the page rather than requiring a scrolling action within the frame.

This feature offers you the option to customise iframes and continues to be a great way to display your maps.

In the example below, we have used our ‘Installations under the Great British Insulation Scheme’ updated map iframe. We have removed the share icon, intro text and footer for a more seamless embed into the page.
