Revamped Polimapper interface

To greet the arrival of a new parliament and government, the Polimapper interface has received a fresh new look.

Featuring a collapsible menu designed to create more screen space, the new design makes it easier to create new and access existing projects.

It also lays the groundwork for new functionality that we’ll be adding to the platform in the coming months.

Revised Stakeholders module

If you’re a Stakeholder Connect customer, the revamped platform also provides you with easy access to the Stakeholders database.

This is a searchable database of all MPs, that includes:

  • A short bio
  • Contact information including their new parliamentary email address.
  • Profiles of their new constituencies, post the 2024 boundary changes.

We’ll be adding to the Stakeholders section in the coming weeks, to make this section even more useful, so watch this space.

MP e-action functionality

With the new government wiping the policy slate clean and setting out its intentions to get things done, the door is open for those who are looking to affect change across a wide variety of policy areas.

There’s an opportunity to invest in relationships with new MPs that could last well into the next decade.

At Polimapper, we’ve rapidly adapted our election candidate e-action function for use with new MPs.

So if you’re a charity looking to rally your supporters to raise an issue with new MPs, or a trade association looking to arrange site visits and build new relationships, then get in touch and find out how Polimapper’s new MP e-action can benefit you.

Search by postcode function

For all new constituency maps, Polimapper customers will have a choice of three different types of search functions:

  1. Constituency search

This is the ideal search function for when using the tool in 1-2-1 meetings with MPs or at events. Simply navigate to their constituency to present your dashboard of information for their area.

2. Postcode search only

Postcode search works best for public-facing campaigns, where people might not know which constituency they live in.

3. Postcode + constituency search toggle

Sometimes it can be useful to have the ability to search both by constituency and by postcode, which is why we’ve created a search function where you can toggle between the two. An example is where the project is being used both by politicians and others in and around politics, as well as members of the public.

All of these functions can be implemented with the click of a button, underlining why Polimapper is the pre-eminent geographical stakeholder engagement platform.
