Constituency fact files are here!

Constituency dashboards have had a mini-revamp in the latest Polimapper release.

Each constituency page now has its own fact file, which includes the name of the MP, party and previous election results.

For Constituency Engage customers, we’ve boosted the prominence of Email and Tweet MP calls-to-action, with that now appearing above the MP fact file, and the constituency map, which now sits in a neat box.

Continuing the theme of minor visual improvements, it’s now possible to add both bulleted and non-bulleted lists in each datafield, making the display of list information easier to read. For information on how to make use of this functionality, please get in touch with your account manager.

Here’s a full list of the latest improvements and updates included in Version 3.0.1.

Constituency Factfile

As part of the layout improvements made in Version 3.0.1, we have now added a fact file to all constituency based maps.

This fact file includes:

  • MP Name
  • Party
  • Nation/Region
  • Size of the electorate
  • Size of the majority at the last election

Node Dashboard Update

In this latest version, we have updated the layout of the dashboard. When you click into a geographic location, be that Local Authority District, Region, or Police Force Area, front-end users will now see an improved layout, where the node outline is highlighted.

Lists within datafields

We have added new functionality which allows for lists, either bulleted or not, to be added as a datafield.

Minor improvements and bug fixes

  • System automatically hides groups with no data present
  • Option to remove ‘Data Unavailable’ from map key.
