This year, we have been working with tide, visualising their constituency data to support their ‘Front of Mind’ campaign. This campaign, in partnership with Roche, aims to improve the lives of people with dementia and their unpaid carers.
As part of the campaign, tide hosted a parliamentary reception on the 7th June 2022, for which Polimapper was used extensively before and during the event.
Making great use of the Campaign Tools in Polimapper, tide sent the maps out to carers, asking them to use the tweet and email functionality to invite their local MPs to the event.
40 MPs attended the event, which was a great opportunity for carers and MPs to gather and discuss the changes needed to support people living with dementia and their carers.
During the event, the maps were showcased on a tv screen, where MPs could come and take a look at the state of dementia and dementia care in their constituencies. Visualising the data in this way led to greater MP engagement, with many taking a keen interest in how their constituencies compare, and what changes need to be made.
After the event, tide will continue to use the map as part of the campaign, with plans to use the map at future events.
